Additional Information about Ear Planes

Customers have been calling from all over the country as a result of the recent syndicated "Taking the Kids/Junior Traveler column by Eileen Ogintz. We were surprised to find that so many customers had not heard of our Ear Planes before, and how much of a problem this is among children and adults of all ages. For many, ear pressure pain is something they've dealt with while flying for their entire lives. A couple of important notes about the Ear Planes before you order:

You'll need to replace them! The manufacturer states that one pair of Ear Planes is effective for one round trip, so replace them for future flights. The ceramic filter inside them gets clogged with moisture, dirt and pollen in your ear, reducing effectiveness.
Use for Age 1 and Up. The manufacturer recommends the children's size of ear planes for ages 1 - 11, and the adult size for ages 12 and up. Ear Planes are not recommended for infants under 12 months. Take them Out. The manufacturer also recommends that you put in Ear Planes prior to take off, take them out once you've reached cruising altitute, then put them back in prior to landing. That will keep them from clogging too quickly.
